So it's the end of the school year and prom is coming up. I haven't given it much thought, with no one asking me and having no money. So every time someone would talk about Prom or it would be blasted over on morning announcements I would feel so pathetic. everyone around was excited but I was feeling blue.
So one day I'm going through the front office of our school and one of the office ladies handed me an envelope with my name on it. I open it and inside is a ticket to prom and an anonymous note saying that my limo is paid for as well.
Now I was so excited, but then there was the fact that I still had to get a dress. I went looking for some, and I didn't want to be picky but I never saw anything affordable that I liked.
So a friend of mine told me about a lady that lends dresses to girls who can't afford them. at first I didn't believe it, but when I got a hold of her I was excited to know that there was no catch. I borrowed a dress and went to Prom and had a great time, and am still thankful to all the people who cared enough so that I had a great time.
I want to thank Tracy for helping me and having such a big heart to help others, and thank my friends for giving me a great prom. And most of all thank God, my Savior for giving me a wonderful life and people who have so much love.
Amy
